On fleek 美极了
    2020-12-21  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A: Did you just go shopping? Let’s see what you’ve bought.

B: Well, my most expensive purchase was this pair of shoes. What do you think?

A: Wow! They are on fleek!

Note: Perhaps from “fly” and “sleek,” this Afro-American slang term means “sleek and perfectly groomed or styled,” originally used to describe eyebrows or hair. The term was popularized by a video posted on Vine in 2014 by Chicago-area teen Kayla Newman, in which Newman, who had just had her eyebrows done for the first time, proudly declared “eyebrows on fleek.” The term simply means “awesome, fashionable.”
