DRIVERS headed to the Dapeng Peninsula for the Spring Festival holidays between Thursday and Feb. 17 need to make reservations for their vehicles in advance, sources from the city’s police office said.

Drivers can make reservations through the city’s traffic police WeChat account “szjjwx” or its official Website.

Some vehicles are not subject to the rule, including cabs, cargo vehicles, ambulances, engineering vehicles, firefighting vehicles and passenger vehicles with at least 10 seats.

The Fairy Lake Botanical Garden in Luohu District will be closed between Wednesday and Friday. Starting Saturday, visitors can enter the garden as usual, and vehicles are allowed to enter the park if reservations are made in advance during the Spring Festival holidays.

The Hongfa Temple inside the garden will be closed from Wednesday to Feb. 26.
