Shenzhen Museum (of History and Folk Culture) 深圳博物馆历史民俗馆

Relics from the tombs of two Tusi clans in Sichuan Province are on display until March 28 and a total of 76 pieces/sets of relics from Longmen Grottoes in Henan Province are also on display until May 23. Entry is free.

Shenzhen Museum (of Ancient Art) 深圳博物馆古代艺术馆

Three exhibitions of ancient Chinese relics from the Shenzhen Museum’s own collection and four more ancient art exhibitions in collaboration with other domestic museums are being held until March 7. Entry is free.

Nanshan Museum 南山博物馆

A total of 124 pieces/sets of the State of Chu relics dating back to more than 2,200 years ago are on display until April 5. Meanwhile, paintings and sculptures with the theme of 12 Chinese zodiac animals created by Han Meilin are also on display until Feb. 28. Entry is free.

OCT Art & Design Gallery 华·美术馆

Contemporary artworks created by 41 Chinese artists and groups are on display at “The Curation Workshop II: Story and Structure” (30 yuan) until May 7. Visitors can express their curating ideas by placing bricks printed with artworks on a floor layout of the gallery.

C2 Space in OCT-LOFT

华侨城创意文化园C2展厅

Japanese artist Ryoichi Kurokawa is exhibiting his multimedia installation titled “s.asmbli [wall]” until Feb. 28. Images and videos of forests and architectural ruins are projected onto a huge box-like installation which is surrounded by an array of giant mirrors. Entry is free.

Sea World Culture and Arts Center 海上世界文化艺术中心

The “Fashioned From Nature” exhibition (98 yuan), together with a Chinese section, “Fashioned From Nature in China: Then and Now,” presents nearly 400 garments and accessories. The exhibition, running until June 6, showcases items from the V&A’s and the China National Silk Museum’s collections as well as international loans. “Values of Design: China in the Making” (68 yuan) is Design Society’s permanent exhibition exploring the growing field of Chinese design.

Pingshan Art Museum 坪山美术馆

Four exhibitions under the “Nine-Tiered Pagoda: Spatial and Visual Magic” project are being held until Feb. 21. Meanwhile, the museum’s “Hometown Series” speaks of the coexistence of the past and the reality through the lens of simplicity and honesty. In the series’ first exhibition running until Feb. 28, Hai Bo’s photos exude the deep nostalgic feelings shared by people who are away from their roots. Entry is free.

Located on the fifth floor of the Modern Window Commercial Plaza, the HQB Museum reflects collective memories of Huaqiangbei, showcasing electronic products made in this No. 1 electronics market in China over the past 40 years and old photos. Entry is free.
