Eight new parks in Longhua District have been recently built, with roads paved mainly with granite and permeable concrete and walking lanes made with porous asphalt. Some parks are designed as sponge sites which can absorb and use rainfall in an ecologically friendly way that reduces dangerous and polluted runoff. Each park has its own unique set of features to delight and inspire.

Shijing Park 狮径公园

Jacaranda mimosifolia flowers, kapok trees and flame trees can be found in the park.

Xikeng Old Village Bamboo Park 茜坑老村竹公园

Various species of bamboo can be seen in the park.

Shedikeng Park 蛇地坑公园

You can find pink trumpet trees and holly trees in the park and then take a walk to the nearby Shangwei Art Village, a centuries-old Hakka village that now supports a budding community of local artists and craftspersons.

Jiexin Park on Xinqu

Boulevard 新区大道街心花园

Ormosia trees, powder puff trees, holly trees, purple magnolia flowers and pink trumpet trees can be found in the park which is close to the Hongshan 6979 shopping center.

Yousong Binshui Park

油松滨水公园

Flame trees, sacred garlic pear trees, golden shower trees and pink trumpet trees can be found in the park.

Dalang Longping Park

大浪龙平公园

There are sweet osmanthus trees, trumpet trees and pomelo trees in the park.

Fengsheng Market Park

丰盛市场公园

Ceiba speciosa trees and flame trees can be found in the park.

Yulong Park 玉龙公园

With sweet osmanthus as its theme, the park is designed like a traditional Chinese garden with a pavilion, a hill, a stream and a winding corridor.
