Seven relics exhibitions

Three exhibitions of ancient Chinese relics from the Shenzhen Museum’s own collection and four more ancient art exhibitions in collaboration with other domestic museums are being held until March 7. Visitors can book on the WeChat account “iszbwg” in advance.

Venue: Shenzhen Museum (of Ancient Art), Futian District (福田区深圳博物馆古代艺术馆)

Xue Yang’s paintings

Shenzhen artist Xue Yang is exhibiting her oil paintings and sculptures at “The Second Flame” until March 9. Entry is free.

Venue: Serpentine Gallery, 109, Block 2, Nanhai E-Cool, Nanshan District (南山区南海意库2栋109蛇口画廊)

‘Let There Be Light’

Artist Julio Rondo is exhibiting his abstract paintings at the “Let There Be Light” exhibition until March 6. Entry is free. Rondo has established an international reputation for his geometrically structured work painted on glass.

Venue: LAN Gallery, 3/F, O’Plaza, OCT Harbor, 8 Baishi Road, Nanshan District (南山区白石路8号欢乐海岸购物中心三楼蓝岸画廊)

Lantern show

The Zigong Lantern Show (69.9 yuan), the best of its kind in China, is being held until March 8. Covering 300,000 square meters, the lantern show also includes a food street. Originated from Zigong in Sichuan Province, the show is famous for its grand and comprehensive display of lanterns and has been listed as a national intangible cultural heritage item.

Hours: 6-10 p.m.

Zhi Art Museum

The “Nobody Knows Better than Me” exhibition, running until March 14, includes four sections showcasing contemporary artworks by nine Chinese artists. Entry is free.
