THE Qianhai e-station administration service center has extended service hours to 12 p.m.-2 p.m. and 6 p.m.-8 p.m. on workdays, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Sunday starting from March 1, according to a notice released by Qianhai Authority.

SUSTech new majors

THE ministry of Education approved four new undergraduate majors to reach a total of 34 at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech).

The majors are industrial design, data science and big data technology, ocean engineering and technology and intelligent medical engineering.

School admissions

FUTIAN District will offer 7,000 additional school places for the coming 2021-2022 school year. According to a meeting of the district’s education bureau, it will open two new schools and three new kindergartens.
