Journalists take a ride on a 128-meter-high Ferris wheel in Bao’an Coastal Cultural Park in Bao’an District yesterday. The wheel, named Light of Bay Area and a new landmark in western Shenzhen, will open to the public April 18. It has a total of 28 carts, each of which accommodates up to 25 people in a 16.8-square-meter space. A ride takes about 30 minutes. Ticket presales opened yesterday at 128 yuan (US$19.5) per person. Regular fares will be 180 yuan per head for holidays and 150 yuan otherwise. China News Service |
