THE yacht show promotion meeting for the first China International Consumer Products Expo was held in Shenzhen in Shekou, Nanshan on Wednesday.

Representatives of more than 30 companies from the yacht industry attended the meeting.

The first China International Consumer Products Expo, China’s first national exhibition focused on high-end consumer products, will be held from May 7 to May 10 in Haikou, capital of Hainan Province. The expo is expected to welcome more than 10,000 purchasers and more than 200,000 visitors.

Covering 80,000 square meters, including 60,000 square meters of an international exhibition featuring fashion, jewelry, food and supplements, and hospitality and professional services, the expo is expected to be the largest boutique exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region.

The expo will also set up a yacht exhibition to let visitors and residents in Hainan to experience travel on yacht so as to boost development of the yacht industry.

More than 100 yachts with 40 local and foreign brands will be presented on the exhibition, including Denmark’s X-Yachts, Finland’s FLIPPER and the United States’ Quicksilver.
