    2021-04-20  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

NEARLY 9,000 resumes were submitted at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area talent recommendation fair Saturday in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-SZ) in Longgang District, according to Shenzhen Special Zone Daily.

The event attracted 300 companies seeking around 19,000 employees for nearly 2,000 job positions.

Participating enterprises cover fields such as the Internet, finance, intelligent manufacturing, biological medicine, education, special services, real estate and construction. Job vacancies in these fields include software and hardware developers, teachers, game designers, operation managers and market managers.

Most of these companies also provided management training programs and internship opportunities.

It is reported that the monthly salaries of about 50 percent of the job positions offered in the fair exceed 10,000 yuan (US$1,533). Meanwhile, more than 70 percent of the job positions require a bachelor’s degree or above.

Students attending the job fair are mostly from Guangdong, Beijing, Hunan, Hubei, Harbin and Jilin. Other jobseekers are overseas returnee students.

A student surnamed Wang said that the fair provided many job opportunities. Wang successfully got interviews with two companies, said the report.

Graduates can also visit the Higher Education Graduates Career Center of Guangdong Province website at

http://job.gd.gov.cn/ for job postings.

The fair was organized by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, CUHK-SZ and the human resources bureau of Longgang District.  (Wang Jingli)
