    2021-05-10  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Classical music lovers can enjoy a wide range of string music presented by China Conservatory of Music violin professor Huang Bin and her friends at three concerts in Shenzhen this year.

Having won three major violin competitions — the Junior International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition in 1985, the Paganini International Violin Competition in 1994, and the ARD International Music Competition in 1999, Huang has been universally lauded for her interpretive and technical skills. She channels her deep musical passion into performances and education, and has also taught at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and her alma mater, Eastman School of Music.

Haydn, Beethoven

Huang will lead a string quartet with Yang Min as the second violinist, Liu Zizheng as the viola player and Alexander Suleiman as the cellist to perform Haydn’s “String Quartet, Op. 64, No. 5” and Beethoven’s “String Quartet No. 4 in C Minor” and “String Quartet No. 12 in E-flat Major.”
