Concert

China Conservatory of Music violin professor Huang Bin will lead a string quartet with Yang Min as the second violinist, Liu Zizheng as the viola player and Alexander Suleiman as the cellist to perform Haydn’s “String Quartet, Op. 64, No. 5” and Beethoven’s “String Quartet No. 4 in C Minor” and “String Quartet No. 12 in E-flat Major.”

“The New Paintings of Flowing Water and High Mountains — He Xiangning and the Beijing Art Circle in New Chinese Time” is an exhibition featuring works by He Xiangning and other Chinese masters including Qi Baishi and Xu Beihong. It runs until Sunday.

Stéphane Couturier’s photos

French photographer Stéphane Couturier is exhibiting his works at the “Melting Point” exhibition (99 yuan) until June 20. Couturier specializes in large-scale images of factories, cities and urban landscapes.

Nanshan Museum

Shenzheners now can admire Renaissance master Raphael’s original paintings and a few reproductions, as well as some Baroque and Neoclassical artists’ works, at an exhibition until June 27. Meanwhile, relics from the Dazu Rock Carvings in Chongqing Municipality are also on display until Aug. 8.
