Ancient artifacts

A total of 146 Liye Qin Slips and 31 pieces of Qin-Dynasty artifacts are on display at the “A Tale of a Small Town” exhibition running until June 27.

Qinghai relics

The “Qinghai in the Belt and Road” exhibition running until June 10 displays 373 ancient artifacts, highlighting Qinghai as an important transportation hub of the ancient Silk Road.

Sea World

The “Fashioned From Nature” exhibition (98 yuan), together with a Chinese section, “Fashioned From Nature in China: Then and Now,” presents nearly 400 garments and accessories. The exhibition, running until July 4, showcases items from the V&A’s and the China National Silk Museum’s collections as well as international loans. “Values of Design: China in the Making” (68 yuan) is Design Society’s permanent exhibition exploring the growing field of Chinese design. The “SANKUANZ & ANDREA CREWS: Les Rendez-Vous de la Mode” exhibition, running until June 9, showcases photos of fashion garments by Chinese designer Shangguan Zhe and French designer Maroussia Rebecq.

Pingshan Art Museum

Six exhibitions of the “Nine-Tiered Pagoda: Spatial and Visual Magic” project are on display at the Pingshan Art Museum. The project invites nine groups of artists, nine architects and nine designers to form nine temporary teams to do art. Meanwhile, visitors can immerse themselves in the museum’s first virtual art exhibition featuring eight Chinese contemporary artists’ works.

HQB Museum

From cruise ships’ whistles in Shekou Port to birds’ humming in Huanggang Park, from keyboard typing sounds in an office in Shenzhen Hi-tech Park to the sound of sea waves in Dameisha, visitors can now listen to various sounds recorded in Shenzhen at the “Voice of Shenzhen” exhibition running until Aug. 15. Meanwhile, the “Game Light Year” exhibition, running until June 14, reviews electronic games in China with old gaming devices displayed and showings of video game clips.

Nanshan Museum

Shenzheners now can admire Renaissance master Raphael’s original paintings and a few reproductions, as well as some Baroque and Neoclassical artists’ works, at an exhibition until June 27. Meanwhile, relics from the Dazu Rock Carvings in Chongqing Municipality are also on display until Aug. 8.
