Travelers leaving SZ still need 48h negative nucleic acid results
    2021-07-05  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

TRAVELERS leaving Guangdong Province via Shenzhen and Dongguan still need to provide green health codes and negative results of nucleic acid testing taken within 48 hours, according to a notice issued by the Guangdong pandemic prevention and control commanding headquarters.

Meanwhile, the headquarters has lifted restrictions for travelers departing Guangzhou and Foshan cities since Saturday.

Following the policy adjustment, Guangzhou Railway Group Corp. increased the inter-provincial trains from Guangzhou to Nanning, Guiyang, Chongqing, Chengdu, Wuhan and Shanghai and intra-provincial trains from Guangzhou to Zhanjiang and Chaoshan.

The operator advised travelers to update their ticket information through its ticketing website of www.12306.cn, service app and WeChat account.

For travelers’ convenience, especially those with yellow health codes to get nucleic acid test results as early as possible, Longhua People’s Hospital has set up a mobile nucleic acid testing site for medical workers to test samples at Shenzhen North Railway Station.

The mobile nucleic acid testing site, a vehicle equipped with testing equipment, can give the result of a test within three hours at the fastest. Technicians work in the vehicle only to process nucleic acid samples taken from somewhere else. Travelers who need a nucleic acid test must go to the other designed testing sites to have their samples taken.

Shenzhen North Railway Station is the largest rail transportation hub in South China. The on-the-spot test service can conduct tests for 2,000 individual samples a day. Passengers can check their results online hours after sample collection. (Han Ximin)
