Skill training subsidy

EMPLOYEES who had paid unemployment insurance for over a year and gained skill certificates, can apply for skill training subsidies up to 2,000 yuan (US$309), according to a notice of the Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau on Wednesday.

The certificates are graded into preliminary, intermediate and senior levels, and the subsidies are given out at three levels, at 1,000, 1,500 and 2,000 yuan, accordingly.

Delivery drone service

INTERNET giant Meituan inked a deal with Super International Center (SIC) recently to build the world’s first business circle where unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) will be used to transport goods, Shenzhen Economic Daily reported.

SIC, a built-above-Metro project that is jointly developed by Shenzhen Metro Group and Vanke Group, will be the first project to be unveiled at Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters in Nanshan, said the report.

Based on the cooperation agreement, Meituan will fully utilize its advantages to serve customers within the 3-kilometer-radius business circle with its delivery drones. Customers can get their goods delivered from SIC as fast as 10 minutes after they place orders on Meituan.
