Whale’s trajectory

EXPERTS said that the activity trajectory of “Xiaobu” has been affected by the typhoon. The whale was recently spotted in the Yantian and Hong Kong sea areas, Shenzhen Economic Daily reported.

The Eden’s whale, affectionately called by Shenzhen citizens as “Xiaobu,” first showed up in Dapeng Bay on June 29.

More rains

THERE will still be rain and local heavy rains in Shenzhen in the next three days, according to the Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory.

Additionally, there will be three concentrated rainfall periods in Shenzhen from August to September, respectively in the end of mid-August, the end of August to the beginning of September, and around mid-September.

During the end of mid-August to the beginning of September and mid-September, two typhoons may enter the city’s 500-kilometer range and bring wind and rain.
