CPI in July

SHENZHEN’S consumer price index (CPI), a primary gauge of inflation, increased by 1.4 percent in July year on year, statistics from the Shenzhen survey team of the National Bureau of Statistics showed.

The CPI dropped by 0.4 percent over June. During the January-July period, the city’s CPI grew by 0.3 percent year on year.

Compared with June, food prices dropped by 0.9 percent, partly due to increasing supplies of pork, fruits and seafood. In the nonfood category, the prices rose by 0.6 percent over June.

Displays system

SHENZHEN Bao’an International Airport has upgraded its LCD displays with 5G+8K technologies to further improve travelers’ experience while waiting for boarding at Terminal 3’s departure hall.

The integration of 5G and 8K has been regarded as one of the core scenarios of 5G commercial applications. The airport will apply their integrated technologies in more business settings and make the airport the takeoff point for new technology applications in China’s aviation industry.
