New air route

THE Spring Airlines successfully initiated a new air route from Shenzhen to Wuhai, an industrial city in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, on Saturday. Three flights will operate each week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) by an Airbus A320 until Oct. 28 this year.

Law enforcement ship

SHENZHEN’S first 3,000-ton marine rights protection and law enforcement ship was officially scheduled to be built, according to a ship building contract signing ceremony held in Guangzhou on Friday.

The Shenzhen Municipal Government has invested in the ship, with a total of over 330 million yuan (US$50.75 million). The shipbuilding project is expected to last about 26 months.
