STARTING from Friday, flights between Shenzhen and Nanjing and Zhengzhou have been gradually resumed, according to an announcement of Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport.

Starting from today, ferry services between Shenzhen Airport Pier and Zhuhai and Zhongshan will resume to 14 ferries a day.

Six ferries — three departures and three arrivals between Shenzhen Airport Pier and Jiuzhou Port in Zhuhai — will resume today. Eight ferries between Shenzhen Airport Pier and Zhongshan Port will resume on the same day.

The Shenzhen airport’s Pingshan Waiting Hall initiated sea-land joint transport mode July 18, enabling the airport express bus A5 to reach Shenzhen Airport Pier in 45 minutes for ferry passengers to Zhongshan, Zhuhai and Nansha. This mechanism also provides ferry and airfare discounts for passengers who fly out of the Shenzhen airport, in addition to free flight cabin upgrades, waiting hall meal discounts, Hyatt Regency Hotel discounts and discounts on tickets to Shenzhen’s tourist attractions.

The Shenzhen airport has also recently opened through-luggage service at its urban waiting hall in Hualian Building in Futian District and other waiting halls in Longgang, Pingshan, Huizhou, Huiyang and Shanwei. Aside from dropping off luggage, passengers can also print their boarding passes and take the airport bus or ferries to T3 and directly check in for their flights.

Currently, the Shenzhen airport has opened 36 urban waiting halls in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with 10 offering through-luggage service.
