Cargo flight

SHENZHEN Bao’an International Airport recently opened a cargo route with Dhaka, the capital and largest city of Bangladesh, bringing the number of international cargo routes of the airport to 31. This is the airport’s fifth cargo route opened this year.

According to the airport, the flights will operate three times a week, bridging South China and South Asian countries. By the end of August, the Shenzhen airport’s annual cargo throughput had reached 1 million tons, up by 20 percent year on year.

Tunnel work

METRO lines 12 and 14’s tunnel work was completed Friday, laying a solid foundation for the lines’ operation in 2022.

Line 12 runs 40 kilometers from Zuopaotai Station in Nanshan to Waterland Resort Station in Bao’an. Line 14 runs 50 kilometers from Gangxia North Station in Futian to Shatian Station in Pingshan.
