A MAIN venue and 67 subvenues are expected to be set up during the 17th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) from Sept. 23 to 27, an ICIF meeting announced Friday.

The main venue will be at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao’an District.

The 67 subvenues consist of eight in Futian District, six in Luohu District, one in Yantian District, 11 in Nanshan District, 12 in Bao’an District, 15 in Longgang District, nine in Longhua District, two in Pingshan District, one in Guangming District and two in Dapeng New Area.

Preliminary statistics showed that over 400 interactive activities will be organized at the fair, including exhibitions, forums, auctions, contract signings, competitions and project promotions.

The subvenue events will highlight red culture under the theme of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The subvenue fairs will feature national strategy practices of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), showing the GBA’s cultural inclusiveness and innovative development energy. They will also carry forward and promote China’s outstanding traditional culture, pushing forth revitalization of China’s traditional techniques. In addition, the fairs will focus on the cultural industry’s high-quality development, spotlighting the effects of the exhibitions’ interactive events.
