Xia Yuanjie szrbgracexia@126.com SHENZHEN Zhongjixian Media Co. has signed three well-known foreign underwater artistic specialists, the company announced at a seminar Friday at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao’an District during the 17th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF). As one of the exhibitors of the ICIF, Zhongjixian is a media company specializing in film and television production related to extreme sports. It is a subsidiary of Sanrenxing Network Culture Media Co., which produced the underwater dance tetralogy that includes the hits “Rhapsody on the Luo River Goddess” and “Red,” several months ago. The three new Zhongjixian members are Florian Fischer from Germany, the world’s top underwater videographer and director; Julie Gautier from France, a freediving champion and underwater dancer; and Guillaume Nery from France, the world’s free-diving champion. Fischer, Gautier and Nery sent their greetings via online video. Fischer said he felt honored to be a close international partner of Zhongjixian. Gautier praised Chinese underwater dance techniques. Nery said he was amazed by underwater artistic works using traditional Chinese culture and expected his participation could bring more creativity to underwater performances. Yu Yongyi, a producer from Zhongjixian, said at the seminar that Shenzhen is a city by the ocean. These leading artists’ participation will support the company to create more high-quality underwater films and raise residents’ awareness of marine ecology preservation. |
