THE 25th fall job fair for college graduates, the largest one in Shenzhen, will be held in Hall 1 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District on Oct. 10, offering around 30,000 posts and job vacancies.

Graduates with good background in education and scientific research can receive up to 600,000 yuan (US$92,822) in annual salary, the Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the fair’s organizer, said yesterday.

Attendees can register for entry bar codes at http://szggjy.zshr.cn. In addition to this code, attendees should provide their health code, travel records and a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 48 hours.

More than 650 well-known enterprises, including 16 Fortune 500 ones, 70 State-owned enterprises and nearly 60 listed companies, have been invited to the job fair.

The enterprises cover high-tech, electronic information, finance, biomedicine and new energy, and half of them are privately owned.

Ninety percent out of 5,000 job postings do not require prior job experiences. Education degrees and majors are two main factors determining salary levels. Enterprises usually favor graduates in electronic engineering, information technology, automation and biomedicine, among others.

The organizer will also set up an area for Hong Kong and Macao talents, offering internship for the youth of these regions.

The online job fair will begin tomorrow and last for two months until the end of November and will be attended by more than 1,000 employers.
