A TOTAL of 220 projects, many selected from the 2021 Guangdong Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Contest and 2021 Shenzhen Dream Catcher Cup Contest, were displayed at the GBA Entrepreneurship and Innovation Promotion Show yesterday at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District to seek investments.

The projects from 16 cities in Guangdong Province cover sectors including science innovation, internet, new energy and energy conservation, environmental protection, biopharmacy, culture creation and electronic information.

Bones Bio-Technology Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of the University of Hong Kong that is settled in E-Hub Qianhai, displayed its intelligent orthopedics assistance system.

“We made some digital renovation in the traditional orthopedics field. We can dissect bone-related diseases digitally,” Zhang Chan, supervisor of the company, said during an interview yesterday.

The show, a sideline event of the job fair for national college graduates, also attracted more than 20 entrepreneurial incubation bases like E-hub, T+SPACE, Universiade Software Town, CUHK (Shenzhen) Creation, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center to provide consulting and office leasing services.

“We will set up a new incubation base next year,” said Ye Liping, administrative assistant from CUHK (Shenzhen) Creation, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. “We want to find some quality projects that will settle in the incubation center.”

The GBA Entrepreneurship and Innovation Promotion Show has been held in the city since 2010.
