‘Revolve’

Chinese artists Qiu Shihua, Wang Chuan, Liang Quan and Yan Shanchun are exhibiting their works at the “Revolve” exhibition until Oct. 28.

‘Atlas Obscura’

Chinese artist Sun Xun is exhibiting his paintings and videos based on his animated film “Magic of Atlas” at the “Atlas Obscura” exhibition running until Oct. 30. “Magic of Atlas” combines the styles of woodcut, contemporary painting, Persian miniature painting and traditional Chinese painting to tell a story that is closely related to Sun’s artistic residency experiences in different parts of the world.

Tapestry art

Students and teachers in Guangming District are exhibiting their tapestry artworks until Oct. 24.

Bookplates

Bookplates collected by the Dafen Art Museum are on display at the “In a Small Space” exhibition until Oct. 25. Entry is free.

‘Ando Box’

Architectural drawings and models of Japanese architect Tadao Ando, winner of architecture’s highest honor Pritzker Prize, are being exhibited at the “Ando Box” exhibition (76 yuan) unil Nov. 28. A large green apple designed by Ando is also in place at the exhibition as a symbol of youth. The 80-year-old self-taught architect is the master behind some of the world’s most recognizable buildings, including the Church of Light in Osaka and the Church on the Water in Hokkaido.
