Global experts hail key CPC session, resolution
    2021-11-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

GLOBAL experts have spoken highly of the sixth plenary session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, hailing it as a crucial meeting linking the past and the future.

Gennady Zyuganov, chairman of the Central Committee Party of the Russian Federation, said during a recent interview that the sixth plenary session serves as an opportunity for the CPC to look back, analyze its journey, evaluate what has been achieved and set tasks for the future.

Volker Tschapke, honorary president of Germany’s Prussian Society, said the outcomes of the meeting “will bring lasting momentum and long-term wellbeing to the development of the country and society” and “have a positive impact on the global market.”

Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Shaaban, secretary-general of the Egyptian Socialist Party, said the plenary session is an important event that came at a crucial time. One of the achievements of the CPC is the massive economic leap that transformed China from a developing country suffering huge economic difficulties into the world’s second largest economy.

Salman Bashir, a former foreign secretary of Pakistan and former ambassador to China, said that the communique released by the six plenary session is a further illustration of the working of people’s democracy, which is unique to China and has no parallels with political parties and governance systems in other countries.
