SHENZHEN reported one new locally transmitted COVID-19 case yesterday, according to a press conference held by the Information Office of the Shenzhen Municipal Government at the Civic Center in Futian District yesterday.

The female patient, 39, lives in Longgang District and works in Luohu District. She was found to be infected in a routine nucleic acid test of key groups.

The patient has been sent to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment and diagnosed as a mild case.

As of yesterday, four COVID-19 cases had been reported in the city since Friday. The four cases belong to the same transmission chain.

After preliminary investigation, the newly confirmed patient recently mainly drove between her home and workplace. She also had taken taxis and had ride-hailing trips. (Continued on P2）
