‘We’re foreigners, but not outsiders’
    2022-01-17  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A student from Guinea-Bissau helps organize residents to take nucleic acid tests through a speaker in Dongli District in northern China’s Tianjin Municipality on Saturday. The 26-year-old African student, who identifies himself as Wan Sen in Chinese, is a junior student of Tianjin University. He and his girlfriend from Zimbabwe have volunteered to assist local communities in stopping the novel coronavirus from spreading. “We are foreigners, but we aren’t outsiders. Faced with the infectious disease, we feel we should fight with Tianjin people and contribute our part,” he said.   Xinhua
