SHENZHEN New Frontier United Family Hospital, a new private general hospital under the United Family Healthcare (UFH) system, held its open day yesterday afternoon in Futian District.

Located in downtown Shenzhen and conveniently above Shawei Metro Station, the Shenzhen hospital is supported by a world-class medical team providing comprehensive clinical services to families in Shenzhen and the whole Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Carl Wu, co-founder and CEO of New Frontier Group, attended the event on behalf of New Frontier Group.

Wu said in his welcoming speech that Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital is the first general hospital since the cooperation started between New Frontier Health and UFH. “We hope that with designated health care institutions operating in the GBA being allowed to use Hong Kong drugs and devices for urgent clinical use, as well as Shenzhen’s decision to relax restrictions on access to innovative medical and health care, our hospital can complement quality resources in cross-border drug use and referral services to create more access and ‘green channels’ for patients,” Wu said.

Wu added that Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital will bring international-standard services to Shenzhen by utilizing the expertise and experience of its doctors and experts, as well as those from UFH and health care services provided by experts from Heal Oncology of New Frontier Health.

Liu Zhuo, executive general manager of Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital, noted in her address that the hospital boasts an international medical team consisting of both Chinese and foreign medical experts, and will also draw on its Hong Kong medical team’s know-how to provide patients with premium health care services.

With a 73,000-square-meter gross floor area, the hospital is equipped with the state-of-the-art international medical technology and its key specialties include obstetrics and gynecology, family medicine, oncology and orthopedics.

A member of the New Frontier Health, UFH is an international hospital and clinic network that has been providing private, premium health care since 1997. UFH operates a network of hospitals and clinics in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Qingdao, Bo’ao and Shenzhen.
