Sanxingdui a limitless archaeological treasure trove
    2022-06-14  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A bronze head excavated from the No. 8 sacrificial pit at the famed Sanxingdui Ruins site in Southwest China’s Sichuan Province is seen in this photo released yesterday. Chinese archaeologists have recently made some stunning discoveries at the site, according to a press conference at the Sanxingdui Museum yesterday. A total of 3,155 cultural relics in complete structure have been recovered from the six new pits, offering many new clues to decode the ancient Shu Kingdom civilization.    (Story on P8)                                 Xinhua
