Job fair

A JOB fair was held at Shenzhen University Town’s sports center Friday afternoon to offer graduates over 4,000 job and internship vacancies. Over 120 companies, including Das Intellitech, ZTE and FIYTA, joined the job fair organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Education Bureau and Nanshan District People’s Government. The bureau said it has planned to hold a total of six job fairs in June.

Insurance coverage

A TOTAL of 39,000 Hong Kong and Macao people working, living and studying in Shenzhen had been covered by the city’s social insurance by the end of April, data from Shenzhen Human Resource and Social Security Bureau showed.

A total of 138 Hong Kong and Macao people had been covered by the city’s pension insurance.

Since 2005, Hong Kong and Macao people working in the city can purchase social insurance.
