Gaokao results

GAOKAO results for Guangdong Province will come out tomorrow, according to information released by the Education Examinations Authority of Guangdong Province.

The results will be sent via text message at 1:45 p.m. tomorrow to examinees who bound their phone numbers on the gaokao registration system.

The examinees can also check results and download and print them via the official WeChat account “广东省教育考试院” (gdsksy) starting 9 a.m. July 3.

COVID cases

SHENZHEN reported two locally transmitted asymptomatic COVID-19 infections during community screenings between 12 a.m. and 12 p.m. yesterday, according to the city’s health commission.

One of the patients is a 23-year-old woman who lives in Nanwan Subdistrict, Longgang District, and the other is a 20-year-old man who lives in Shatou Subdistrict, Futian District.

Both patients have been transferred to the city’s designated medical facility for COVID treatment and are in stable condition. Epidemiological investigation related to the new infections is under way.
