Freight trains

SHENZHEN has operated a total of 200 Sino-Europe freight trains since August 2020 when the first such train was put into operation.

The trains carried 116,300-ton freights worth 5.31 billion yuan (US$793.84 million). A total of 3,365 enterprises used the train service, reaching 38 countries in Asia and Europe, data from Shenzhen Customs showed.

Northern zone

THE northern zone of the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub will open for service soon, Qianhai Authority said recently.

The zone, covering an area of 90,000 square meters, will provide development space for innovative companies and institutions with growth potential, promoting the commercialization of scientific and research findings.
