Meilin Subdistrict tightens anti-COVID-19 measures

FUTIAN District has designated lockdown, control and prevention areas in Meilin Subdistrict since yesterday, according to the district’s COVID prevention and control headquarters.


Shenzhen reported three locally transmitted asymptomatic COVID-19 infections during close contact screenings Sunday, according to the city’s health commission. The three patients — aged 10, 44, and 19, respectively, live in the district’s Futian, Lianhua and Shatou subdistricts.


The Xiangmi Park in Futian District has suspended services since Friday, according to the park. The Futian District Marriage Registration Office inside the park has retained normal operations, but residents are required to present negative 24-hour nucleic acid test results before entering the office.


The Second People’s Hospital of Futian District has suspended services at its outpatient and emergency departments, as well as its fever clinic and services for yellow health code holders, since yesterday, according to the hospital.
