My first interview
    2010-11-03  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    洪伟霆 南山实验学校南头小学部五年级

On October 19, we junior journalists attended an English-teaching seminar held at our school, held by our Chinese teachers and a foreign teacher.

After the seminar, it was time for our junior reporters. The first step was difficult, as all of us were nervous. I tried my best to be as cool as a cucumber.

Several seconds later, I overcame my nervousness and raised the nerve to raise a question to the American teacher from Texas. All the other junior reporters also calmed down. We found we could conduct the interviews calmly and we even joked with the teachers.

Today’s interview was unforgettable. I got valuable practical experience and learned some interview skills, such as being confident and behaving with composure. I will make every effort to be a qualified junior reporter.
