    On November 7, the final selection of junior English journalists for the Asian Games was conducted at Nanshan Happy Song shopping mall. Thirty-three contestants took part. Finally 13 contestants qualified as English junior journalists for the Asian Games.

    There were two sections. In the first, contestants introduced themselves and spoke about the Asian Games in English.

    The second section was a talent show. Contestants gave performances from “The Little Mermaid” and “Peter Pan,” the story of “The Ugly Duck,” played flute and sang English songs. There were more than one hundred people watching the competition in which contestants not only learned from each other but also enjoyed their success.
