Interviewing a South Korean chef
    2010-11-17  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

林育阳 高级中学初二(1)班

On November 6, our junior English journalists interviewed Mr. Leo Chen, guest chef of “The South Korean Food Festival — Taste of Seoul,” at the Four Points Sheraton. I was so excited!

It was my first time to interview a Korean. He is a kind man with a sense of humor. During the interview, Leo introduced himself, and the journalists asked him a few questions about how he likes Shenzhen and why he wanted to be a chef when he was a teenager.

He said his favorite dish was Bibimbap in his country. His dream was to be an actor when he was a teenager. His idol is his father, because his father always takes care of other people instead of himself. At last he gave some advice for teenagers.

After that, Leo introduced a traditional Korean food called spring onion and seafood pancakes and cooked some for us. It was not difficult to cook, so after a few minutes, a fragrant and savory dish came out. Each of us had a piece of delicious pancake.

Then, all the journalists took photos with Leo and some of them got his signature. All of us had a pleasant and valuable morning.
