 Colombian-born pop star Shakira will make her debut in China on New Year’s Eve, the Youth Daily reports. Jiangsu satellite TV in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, officially announced on its microblog that the singer-dancer would appear in the New Year’s Eve concert on December 31. Shakira will sing three songs, including “Waka Waka” (“This Time for Africa”), the official song for the 2010 FIFA world cup. In addition, she will teach the audience to dance “Waka Waka.” Shakira, one of the most successful Latin singers and a frequent winner of Grammy Awards, has just finished The Sun Comes Out world tour in Europe.
