THE 7th annual China Surf Open took place over the weekend at Dameisha Beach. Expat and local surfers braved the cold weather, enjoying some of the best surf Shenzhen has seen this winter. Good times were had by all with free beer, yoga on the beach, good music, and more. The contest is a grass-roots event for local surfers to congregate, have fun, surf and honor the “sport of kings” which originated in ancient Hawaii. For more photos, visit www.szfresh.org.
