‘Frontline’ crime-investigating program
    2011-01-26  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    梁楚雪 东莞市东莞中学松山湖学校高二(4)班指导老师: 蒋坛军

The “Frontline” program on CCTV-12 “Society and Law” is my favorite TV program. This program shows me many typical policemen, prosecutors, judges and lawyers who struggle against suspects and criminals on the front line.

For example, “The Secret of the No.7 Road Pole” shown on October 24 impressed me deeply. It told a knotty case a policeman encountered one day: a woman’s body was found bound to a road pole marked No.7 beside the Yangtze River in Chongqing. Nobody knew the victim’s identity or where she was from. Police finally caught the murderer in a distant area after a long and hard investigation.

From this program, I learn many stories about crime and punishment, a seesawing game between good and evil and justice, a battle between cunning and wisdom, violence and courage. I also believe “an ill life, an ill end” and I firmly believe that the construction of law in our country will be better step by step.
