THE rubber industry will be developed in Qingdao in collaboration with Qingdao University of Science & Technology (QUST), the China Rubber Industry Association, the Sifang district government and MESNAC Co., Ltd.

    A rubber industrial park will be developed on reclaimed land surrounding the QUST for scientific research and education, start-up incubation, business conferences and expositions, cultural expositions, an information platform and industrial agents.

    Enterprises like Germany’s Lanxess Research Center of High Performance Rubber have been established in the park.

    The park has been selected as a State university industrial park and included in Qingdao’s development plans for the next five years.
