A S a promotional video on China started to illuminate New York’s Times Square 15 times per hour, or 300 times a day, from Jan. 17, another video, which will include elements of Qingdao, will be shown soon.

The looped one-minute promotional video being displayed features some of the nation’s best-known faces, including NBA basketball star Yao Ming, pianist Lang Lang and hybrid rice scientist Yuan Longping. The short film described the image of Chinese people with “wisdom, beauty, bravery, talent and wealth.”

The video has included four Qingdao elements, Qingdao Port, Qingdao International Convention Center, Badaguan, or Eight Passes, and the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center. The film has illustrated the charm of the four Qingdao elements.
