    2011-02-01  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Museum

RIDDLES will be held at Qingdao Museum from Feb. 3 to 6. Visitors can also make accessories of mobile phones, earrings, rings and cartoon figures by themselves at an exhibition hall and guidance will be offered if needed.

This year’s highlight of the museum is an exhibition of 45 imitation paintings of gods from Taishan Mountain. Most of the original paintings can only be found at temples. There will be also interactive activities.

Public Art Center

From Feb. 3 to 7, there will be a large folk culture market at Qingdao Public Art Center, which features works of papercutting, dough molding, embroidery and calabash carving.

A number of artists will show their skills and there will be lantern riddles.

During the Spring Festival holidays, there will be a series of training classes for students to learn calligraphy, folk dancing and piano for free.

Library

An exhibition of Qingdao folk Spring Festival pictures will be held at Qingdao Library between Feb. 3 and 17.

There will also be nearly 300 lantern riddles for visitors to guess. Two traditional concerts will be held on Feb. 4 and 6. A series of colorful activities will be held for children.
