QINGDAO Aquarium has cultivated Tima Formosa, a jellyfish variety distributed in China’s Yellow and Bohai seas.

    The aquarium staff brought the jellyfish from Japan in April last year.

    The Tima Formosa went on display in the aquarium during the Spring Festival.

    It is the first time the variety has been cultivated and displayed in the country.
