A TOTAL of 112 key industrial firms kept working during the Spring Festival holidays, creating output value of 3.2 billion yuan, 10 percent more than for the same period last year.

    Most of the companies were vehicle and ship manufacturers. Output value of CSR Qingdao Sifang Co. Ltd. during the holidays was 140 million yuan, while the Qingdao Branch of Shanghai General Motor Wuling Co. Ltd. made about 89 million yuan and Qingdao Beihai Ship Building Heavy Industry Co. Ltd.’s production volume was 76.8 million yuan. Meanwhile, GST Group produced 198,000 tons of iron and steel valued 68.6 million yuan and output value of oil companies was about 1.37 billion yuan.
