RESEARCH centers for CSR Qingdao Sifang Co. Ltd., Qingdao Haier Molds Co. Ltd. and Qingdao KDN Group were recently approved by the Ministry of Technology to build national engineering technological research centers.

    A total of 29 engineering technological research centers in 20 provinces and cities were approved recently. The city now has seven national engineering technological research centers, 11 provincial centers and 37 city centers, contributing to areas such as agriculture, energy, manufacturing, information and telecommunication, biology, materials, environmental protection, medicine and clothing.
