Service outsourcing progressing
    2011-03-01  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

QINGDAO’S service outsourcing industry has made great progress since last year.

Statistics show the city’s service outsourcing companies had signed 1,036 contracts between January and December, up 102 percent from 2009. The contracts were worth US$192 million, increasing by 107 percent from 2009.

There are now 167 service outsourcing companies registered in the city. Of these, 50 were registered last year, 40 percent more than the previous year. Seven companies, including Caterpillar Inc., Sino Digital Information Co., Lucent Technologies Co., and ReSource Pro, had each earned revenue of more than US$10 million. Meanwhile, construction of the city’s service outsourcing industrial zone also took the leading in the province. The industrial parks in Laoshan, Shinan and Huangdao districts were first, third and fourth among the 19 service outsourcing industrial bases in the province.
