Just recently, several key projects, including a wafer testing and integration sorting equipment project, Noposion north research center and a doctoral project and TRW Inc.’s auto-safety system project, were built in the zone. The wafer testing and integration of sorting equipment was set up by a South Korean company with total investment of US$15 million mainly working on design, development, production and sales of the LED wafer testing equipment. With construction starting in May, the project will be put into operation in May 2015. It is expected to achieve sales revenue of 460 million yuan a year in the future. Total investment of the Noposion north research center is about 35 million yuan, and construction is expected to be finished in July next year. Annual sales revenue of 180 million yuan is expected. Noposion Corp. will also establish a post-doctoral project at the center, the first of its kind to be set up in the high-tech zone. Noposion is a national high-tech company, mainly working on using organic solvents to substitute group solvents. TRW Automotive plans to invest US$20 million in the auto-safety system project, which starts construction in April. It is expected to achieve sales revenue of US$25 million a year.
