THE Huanghai Polytechnic has gained approval to offer undergraduate courses by the Ministry of Education recently, taking the total number of the city’s undergraduate universities to 12.

Meanwhile, Ocean University of China’s Qingdao College has changed its name to Qingdao Engineering College.
