THE city’s key companies will receive environment evaluation this year and the result will affect the companies’ business in finance, insurance and awards.

    The evaluation is a new measure to better monitor the city’s environment. It will mainly focus on evaluating pollution control measures for water, air and hazardous materials.

    The environment supervision department will evaluate the companies once every quarter and the last 10 on the list will be exposed. Awards and preferential policies will be given to those that make the top 10 list twice in a row.
