A wonderful touch of U.S.A.
    2011-03-09  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

As a team member of Shenzhen junior English journalists, we visited the United States during the winter holiday. It was a wonderful experience.

I didn’t know how I got through the 13-hour flight. It felt like somebody playing drums all the time on the plane. When I got off the plane, a gentle breeze kissed my face. It was a bit cold, but it was all brand-new.

San Francisco, this is a fascinating city full of ancient buildings. As I wandered in the empty streets, I thought the world left me in peace. It was sunny all the time. Somebody running or slipping in skateboard always passed me. I felt it was an energetic city.

We also visited a local high school. I thought the school system was quite different from most of ours. Anyway I found it was a bit similar to our Shenzhen Middle School, which is creative and responsible. I appreciated it.

The Universal Studio, sea world and Disneyland made me feel the fascination of high technology, the harmony between man and nature, and the connection between antiquity and modernity.

During the trip, we also had the responsibility to promote Shenzhen and the 26th Universiade. People there were interested in our information. I was glad to do something for my city.
